Heal Our Nura

This painting is my interpretation of everyone coming together to stand up and support one another to heal and protect our land; our Country. The large circle represents our country as one, with our land and our sea. The footprints are our Aboriginal ancestors who walked this land before us. The symbols surrounding our country are our people, standing together to protect our country, our land, our sea, our culture, and our ancestor’s stories, our traditions, and our sacred sites. The lines behind our people represent our future, all people coming together and joining us mob to protect and heal our Country.

FAQ

Make your workspace a little brighter with our beautiful mouse pads. Featuring authentic Indigenous artwork, they will help you keep your desk organised and tidy, and fill your office space with colour.

They are made with a non-slip base and smooth top surface for a more precise mouse movement. Printed locally in our Meanjin studio, we are proud to keep as much of our production on-shore as possible. This creates not only faster turnaround times and lower minimum quantities for you, but increased employment and training opportunities for our local community.

PRINTED IN-HOUSE & SUPPORTING EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING

Over the last decade we have expanded and refined our in-house printing facilities and production capabilities. This allows us to create local jobs and training, and enables us to offer quick turnaround times for branded products.

Our printing facilities go beyond being mere production centres; they are testimonies to the success of our Indigenous Employment and Training initiative. Today, skilled First Nations printers, who have received comprehensive training, are at the helm of our printing operations. Choosing Yarn supports these talented printers, allowing their skills and work to shine and contributing to a growing skillset.
