Future Dreaming

Future Dreaming

Future Dreaming tells a story reflecting the 2025 NAIDOC theme: The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy. It is a celebration of our youth, the strength we carry, the vision we hold, and the deep legacy that flows through us.

On the left side, young people are shown together - united, strong, and connected. They are the heart of the present, bound by culture, knowledge, and community. Their connectedness represents the resilience of our people and the way our young ones uplift and support each other. They carry the stories of Elders, standing proud as the next keepers of Country and culture.

Journey lines weave through the centre, symbolising the ongoing path of learning, growth, and responsibility. These lines connect current youth to future generations, ensuring that knowledge, traditions, and wisdom are carried forward.

Flowing through the composition is water - a symbol of the past, of cleansing, renewal, and connection to Country. It carries the voices of Ancestors, their teachings rippling into the future, reminding us that everything we do today shapes tomorrow.

Future Dreaming is a vision of strength, a reminder that our young people are not just our future - they are our now. They walk in the footsteps of giants, carrying the spirit of those who paved the way, forging their own paths while ensuring the survival and flourishing of culture for generations to come.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week, so there's no better time to show your company, team or organisation's support of First Nations artists on the biggest celebration of the year.

How do I upload my logo?
You can upload your design directly on our website when you submit your order. Click the Upload Your Logo button to add. Be sure to read our artwork guidelines to ensure our team can use your logo — you can find these below the upload logo button.

What happens after I place an order?
After we receive your order we review it and ensure the logo you provided is in the right format and quality. Then we create a mockup of the design for you to review. Production will not begin until the mockup is approved and order payment is received.

What is the correct file format and size for uploading my logo and/or artwork?
Please try to upload high resolution files in AI, SVG, PDF or EPS format as these are the best quality for our designers to work with. If you do not have the correct file format we can assist you with redrawing your logo — reach out to a customer service representative to begin this process.

Can I see a mockup of my shirt before my order is finalised?
Yes! Our designers will create a mockup for you to review. Your mockup must be approved before production can begin.

Will I get a sample proof before my order goes into production?
Yes! All sublimated merchandise orders will receive pressing sample proofs for you to approve or reject, via email within 4 weeks of submitting your order for production. Production will not proceed until the pressing samples are approved.

What’s the minimum quantity (MOQ)?
The MOQ changes depending on the item, ranging from 15 to 100. MOQs can be found on the product page above the size order grids. You can mix and match sizes to meet your MOQ.

What’s the lead time for custom orders?
Lead time varies by product (see the product description). Polos, Tops, Workwear & Accessories: 5-8 weeks. T-Shirts & Merch: 7-10 days. Express Range: 7-10 days.

Can I choose a design that’s not on the website?
Yes! We can help you create something with your own art, source bespoke art for you, or use designs from our sister site Yarn Marketplace. Reach out to a customer service representative to begin.

Do artists get royalties for custom products?
Yes they do! Every purchase pays royalties to the artist to build income and support their career.

Can I request an invoice of the order?
If you request a bank transfer, your invoice will be emailed through to you shortly. Please read the payment terms carefully so as not to delay your order.

Printed In-House & Supporting Employment and Training

Over the last decade we have expanded and refined our in-house printing facilities and production capabilities. This allows us to create local jobs and training, and enables us to offer quick turnaround times for branded products.

Our printing facilities go beyond being mere production centres; they are testimonies to the success of our Indigenous Employment and Training initiative. Today, skilled First Nations printers, who have received comprehensive training, are at the helm of our printing operations. Choosing Yarn supports these talented printers, allowing their skills and work to shine and contributing to a growing skillset.

"My hope is that people wearing these pieces will feel empowered and inspired. I’d like to think they feel a sense of pride, connection, and radiating positive energy.”

- Collaborating Artist Caitlin Trindall, Gomeroi
